Franklin Needs Surgery

The Missouri Tigers announced on Monday that quarterback James Franklin needs surgery on his right shoulder, which is his throwing shoulder.   Franklin was injured last week during spring drills.  The hope at the time was that Franklin would be able to avoid surgery.  Mizzou Head Coach Gary Pinkel said Franklin should be back this summer and ready for the beginning of the season.
