Schumaker has Torn Oblique, Headed to DL

Cardinals 2nd baseman/outfielder Skip Schumaker had an MRI done on Monday which revealed a torn right oblique muscle. Schumaker will be sidelined up to six weeks with the injury, meaning he will start the 2012 regular season on the disabled list. Cardinals General Manager John Mozeliak confirmed Monday night that Schumaker is indeed headed to the disable list.
