Cards and Mets play to 6-6 Tie

The Cardinals and Mets played a sloppy Spring Training game on Saturday featuring three errors by each team. The game ended in a 6-6 tie after ten innings of play. Lance Lynn started for the Cardinals and allowed four runs in four and two-thirds innings pitched. Two Mets home runs off Lynn accounted for the four runs he allowed.

Offensively, the Cards were led by Jon Jay, who had two hits and two runs batted in. Daniel Descalso also drove in a pair of runs with a double.Tyler Greene, hoping to win the second base job for the Redbirds, helped his cause with a two hit day.
