SOUTH ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - On Saturday, construction workers installed the "Rally Squirrel" playground above the Bob Costas Cancer Center at Cardinal Glennon Hospital. The St. Louis Cardinals unofficial post-season mascot helped raise over half a million dollars through t-shirt sales and other memorabilia for the playground.  A generous donation from Anheuser Busch completed the funding.

The playground will be a place for children at the hospital to get away from their troubles for a while.

A ribbon cutting for the playground will be held April 12th.
