New Recording Shows Gregg Williams’ Instructing Bounty Program

NEW ORLEANS, LA (KTVI) – ‘United States of Football’ filmmaker Sean Pamphilon recorded part of a New Orleans Saints meeting in San Fransisco on January 13th, 2012.

The audio recording raises even more questions about the Rams Defensive coordinator. During the clip Gregg Williams instructs his defense to intentionally injure San Francisco players. This recording was made after the NFL warned the Saints to stop their improper bounty program.

On March 21, the NFL indefinitely suspended Williams. The league issued the suspension as punishment for running the New Orleans Saints bounty program. These programs targeted opposing teams players with cash rewards. The NFL may change his status following the 2012 season.
