Missouri Lottery Gives More Than $30 Million To Education

The Missouri Lottery has set new record.  Missouri Lottery monthly proceeds to public education exceeded $30 million for the first time. That total includes profits from ticket sales in March 2012.

The previous record was $29 million set in September 2011.

The total proceeds transferred in fiscal year 2012 to more than $238 million. More than $4.2 billion for state and public education has been generated in the Lottery’s 26-year history.
