ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - If you would like to have a say in planned improvements to the Archgrounds, Tuesday could be your chance. By now, most people have heard about the plans to make changes to the Archgrounds, especially the so-called lid over Interstate 70 between Market and Chestnut streets.

That part of the plan will be the work of the Missouri Department of Transportation. Tuesday afternoon, MoDOT engineers will be available to answer questions and take suggestions about the project.

There are no formal presentations being made. It's really just part of the federal requirement for the project. Engineers will be showing renderings of several alternatives, including the so-called preferred alternative and the impacts of each plan.  MoDOT expects to make a final choice by next month.

The meeting begins at 3 p.m. and goes until 5 p.m. and since there is no formal agenda, you can come and go anytime.  The lid is part of a $500 million improvement project.
