Gov. Nixon Signs Export Deal In Brazil

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL, (KTVI) – Governor Jay Nixon, has for the first time signed a trade deal with the state of Sao Paulo, in Brazil.  The deal with one fastest growing economies in the world, calls for trade to increase over the $320 million in Missouri made good and products sold to Brazil in 2011.   The agreement covers expanding exports, promoting economic growth, education, science and technology.

The trade delegation to Brazil included Missouri based business officials from Boeing and Monsanto.

This is the first trade agreement signed with Brazil in more than 40 years.
