(CNN) - It's widely known that women typically live longer than men. But a new study finds women's life spans are improving at a slower pace. Researchers say the life expectancy for men is improving by 4.6 years on average; but only by 2.7 years for women.
Experts say some reasons for the disparity, is that women are not adequately treating heart disease, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
