JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO (KTVI) - Fans of local heavy metal  band Shattermask will likely have a tough time hunting down a show any time soon.  That's because cops are trying to hunt down their singer.  Police say Brian Keith Dotson took his rock and roll life style too far, and too young.  He's charged with statutory rape of a child under fourteen, another statutory rape count, and he faces three counts of statutory sodomy as well.

The warrants are out of Jefferson County.

Dotson's  face is even up on Crimestoppers billboards around town.

Local metal fans may know the band.  Their bio says they've shared the stage with Marilyn Manson.  Now police  are looking to turn Dotson's gold record dreams into a modern day version of “Jailhouse Rock.”

If you have any information on Dotson’s whereabouts, you’re asked to contact Crimestoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477).
