David Freese went deep.  So did Matt Holliday.  So did Rafael Furcal. The Cardinals hit three home runs as they beat the Pirates 10-7.  It was some rare offensive support for Adam Wainwright as he won his first game of the season.  Wainwright went seven innings giving up four runs.

Matt Holliday had three hits, while Allen Craig had two in his return from his injury rehab.  Craig played first base and hit seventh as he made his return to Busch Stadium after dealing with the after effects of his knee surgery.

The Cardinals improved to 15-8 on the season.
