ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – As we enter the month of May, Crimestoppers is asking you to take another look at a long unsolved murder case.  It was five years ago Tuesday that Shelby Polk, Junior was gunned down outside the Bikers Corner Bar on North Market Street.

No one knows exactly what happened.  A customer walked out of the bar.  He found Polk lying on the sidewalk.  He thought Polk was having a heart attack, but when paramedics arrived, they discovered he’d been shot in the chest.

Police believe he had been shot somewhere else, then dumped and left for dead on the sidewalk.
