The latest forecast from FOX 2 Chief Meteorologist Dave Murray:

Partly sunny…warm and humid…watch for a few storms…where they pop…they will be strong with heavy rain, lightning and hail
Winds: south 10-15 m.P.H.
High: 89 degrees.

Saturday night:

Partly cloudy–mild and humid…maybe a spot storm
Winds: south 5-15 m.P.H.
Low: 70 degrees

Partly sunny…warm and humid..Increasing rain and thunderstorms late afternoon and into the night…some storms will be severe..Stay up to day
Winds: south 10-20 m.P.H
High: 85 degrees.

The weather disco:

Little change in the overall pattern…the southerly flow in place for us…with a weather front…a cool front…hanging to our north…it will wave at us from time to time…but the front never gets into the stl area…but each wave closer will trigger a few thunderstorms…they will not be for everyone…however…where and when they form and location and timing is tough at best…they will trigger heavy rain, lightning and hail…so lots of dry time…but keep an eye on the sky and be ready to get inside. There will be an increase in the storm action late Sunday, Sunday night and into Monday…as a kicker comes into play to get things moving…concerned about severe weather late sunday and into Sunday evening. Then cooler temperatures in the 70’s return for next week.

My summer forecast will be out Thursday…May 17th…9:30pm on FOX 2…on the web a little after 10pm that night.
