ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- Lawerence Bryant captured a photo of children playing jump rope with crime tape and wearing bullet proof vests.

Many people at the exhibit connected with the photo.  One visitor, Terry Evans said, " it's really powerful."

"For someone to really look at the photo and get it.  That's a is a big thing for me," said Bryant.

Lawerece Bryant's photo was part of an exhibit that was devoted to remembering the victims of crime.

Victims of crime sometimes have problems expressing the fear and pain they feel.  But through art, it allows for so much to be said without saying a word.

The exhibit is one of the many tough issued events the Vaughn Center hosts through out the year.  This exhibit hoped it would give the victims a chance to heal.
