BARTLETT, Ill. (AP) —Officials in suburban Chicago say an

11-year-old Bloomingdale boy was killed in an accident involving an all-terrain vehicle. Bartlett Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Ralph DeFreece says Samuel Sloan was struck by an ATV driven by a relative and wasn’t riding the vehicle himself. The accident happened Thursday evening in Bartlett. The Cook County medical examiner’s office says Sloan was airlifted from Central DuPage Hospital to Loyola Medical Center in
Maywood, where he was pronounced dead.
