Missouri Highway Patrol Cracking Down Memorial Day Weekend

(KTVI) - The Missouri Highway Patrol is keeping a close eye on travelers this holiday weekend.  In an effort to promote safety and cut down on the number of traffic crashes troopers will patrol at 20 mile intervals on I-70 and I-44.

The project is called "20 Mile Trooper Project" and it starts this Friday afternoon, running through Monday.
