Cheese, Wine and Canine Festival at Purina Farms

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - What wine goes best with a "Belgian Terveuren" or a "Staffordshire"? These aren't exotic dishes. These are breeds of dogs. And yes, they do go together at a special upcoming event: The Cheese, Wine and Canine Festival.

Susan Waterman for the Missouri Rhineland Kennel Club is hosting the event at the Purina Event Center next weekend.

When: Saturday, June 9. 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Purina Farms Event Center
             200 Checkerboard Loop
             Gray Summit, MO 63039
Cost: $25 in advance, $30 at the door, or $15 for a designated driver

Each tasting ticket includes:
• Tasting ticket book redeemable for 10 wine samples and one full glass of your favorite wine
• Cheese samples from around the world complemented by crackers, fruits, bread and olive oil for dipping
• Keepsake wine glass
• Unlimited soft drinks and water
