OUR LOW PRESSURE BROUGHT SOME RAIN ON THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT…BUT THE AMOUNTS WHERE DISAPPOINTING…A FEW REASONS…THE LOW PICKED UP SOME SPEED…SO IT DID NOT PICK UP THE CORE MOISTURE FROM THE GULF…BUT TWO OTHER CONCERNS CAME INTO PLAY…ONE WAS THE FIGHT WITH THE DRY AIR OVER US…THAT DID A JOB ON THE MOISTURE PATTERNS…AND THE EFFECT OF THE VERY DRY GROUND ALSO CAME INTO PLAY…SOMETHING THAT WE WILL HAVE TO WATCH CAREFULLY…IF THE DROUGHT GOES ON…BUT WE GOT SOME RAIN…EVERY BIT HELPS. SO THE LOW IS GONE…AND WE SET UP INTO A QUIET WEATHER PATTERN…STILL COOL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR…JUNE 1…ON FRIDAY…THEN OVER THE WEEKEND…WE START A WARM-UP…ABOUT 10 DEGREES EACH DAY…STILL REALLY PLEASANT…BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY…BUT WARMER…MAYBE A FEW SCATTERED STORMS AROUND ON MONDAY…THATS IS IN QUESTION RIGHT NOW.
