ST LOUIS MO (KTVI) – The U.S. States Attorney in Kansas City Missouri announced Thursday a former St Louis area seminary student has pleaded guilty to child porn charges.  Nickolas Eugene Pinkston of Warrensburg was a seminary student at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis.

Federal prosecutors say he’s admitted to receiving child pornography in the mail between May and October 2010.  In addition to his seminary studies, Pinkston was also the leader of confirmation classes for seventh and eighth grade students at St. Ambrose Elementary School in St. Louis.

Federal authorities worked with postal inspectors on the case.  They found a mailing to Pinkston’s address from a company operating an internet nudist web site.  During the investigation, the feds arrested Pinkston after he had accepted a package containing child porn.

Pinkston agreed to a plea agreement with the feds and will receive a sentence of five years in federal prison without parole.
