Political Dispute In Washington Park Could Impact Village Operations

WASHINGTON PARK, IL (KTVI)-- An ongoing political dispute between the mayor of Washington Park and three village trustees could impact village operations.

Mayor James Jones is reluctant to issue employee paychecks Friday because of a recent court order.

But the village attorney says paychecks can be issued and fuel may be purchased for fire trucks and police cars without a vote of the village trustees.
