Postal Carrier Hero Honored For Helping Find Missing Child

OAKVILLE, MO (KTVI) - In 30 years working for the US Postal Service, you can bet letter carrier H. Keith Ray has seen and heard a lot. In February of last year he helped find a missing child in Oakville, Missouri.

The child had been reported missing from the Wohlwend Elementary School playground. Ray volunteered to assist in the search and found the young boy at a nearby chapel. Ray alerted the police, and the child was returned unharmed to his family.

Now Ray is being honored for his help in the search. He's received the Missing Children's Day Citizen Award.  He talks about his experience on FOX 2 News in the Morning.
