FLORISSANT, MO. (KTVI) - Another benefit is scheduled this weekend for wounded Florissant police officer, Mike Vernon.  Vernon was shot last month investigating a burglary that left him paralyzed from the waist down.

A washer’s tournament will be held at the Florissant Civic Center on Saturday morning.
The benefit is organized by a group of St. Charles Park Rangers.

They've held tournaments before to support backstoppers and hope for a big turnout.
