TODAY..THURSDAY…THE FIRST FULL DAY OF SUMMER…AND WE HAVE A WEAK AND SLOW COOL FRONT MAKING ITS WAY OVER THE ST. LOUIS AREA…TRYING TO DO BATTLE WITH THE LARGE SUMMER BUBBLE OF HIGH PRESSURE TO OUR EAST. THE COOL FRONT WILL MAKE IT OVER THE REGION AS THE HIGH SLIDES TOWARD THE EAST COAST…THERE IS LIMITED SUPPORT AND MOISTURE FOR THIS FRONT…BUT FRONTS ARE ALWAYS WATCHERS FOR US…EVEN IN A DROUGHT SITUATION…RAIN/STORMS(NON-SEVERE) WILL BE LIMITED AT BEST–THINK SPOTTY…BUT THERE WILL BE A FEW POCKETS OF WET AROUND…THE BEST SHOT IS WITH THE FRONT AND BEHIND THE SYSTEM…SO LETS THING 6AM TO 3 PM…DON’T HOLD YOUR BREATH LOOKING FOR RAIN…IF YOU GET SOME AT YOUR PLACE…YOU ARE LUCKY. BEHIND THE FRONT…SLIGHTLY COOLER AND LESS HUMID FOR THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY…THEN SUMMER STARTS TO COME BACK OVER THE WEEKEND…BUT THERE ARE SIGNS THAT WE WILL STAY IN A NORTHWEST FLOW IN THE UPPER ATMSOPHERE…ALWAYS AN INTERESTING PATTERN…SO THERE WILL BE A FEW STORMS THAT WILL TRY TO COME INTO THE PICTURE SATURDAY, SATURDAY NIGHT, SUNDAY AND MONDAY…IFFY RIGHT NOW…BUT AS THE NEW HIGH BUILDS MORE TO OUR WEST(THE IDEA OF THE SUMMER) WE WILL STAY IN THE NORTHWEST FLOW AND OUR TEMPS WILL BE COOLER MUCH OF NEXT WEEK.
