A Cup of Coffee Could Save Your Life?
(KTVI) – Are you waking up and having your morning cup of coffee? You might be benefiting your health, depending on how much you drink.
A new study suggests that drinking two 8-ounce cups of coffee a day gives people an 11 percent lower risk of developing heart failure. That’s compared to people who don’t drink any at all.
Researchers analyzed data from other studies to come to their conclusion. The study’s authors say they think coffee lowers the risk for diabetes which, in turn, lowers the risk for heart failure.
They do say drinking four cups a day seems to weaken the protection and five cups or more could harm you.
