Cardinals Avoid Sweep, Nip Pirates 5-4

Allen Craig homered for the 2nd time in 3 games, as the Cardinals avoided a 3 game sweep with a 5-4 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. All-Star catcher Yadier Molina also connected for his 13th home run of the season for the Cardinals.  Matt Holliday and rookie Shane Robinson had an RBI apiece in a 2-run 5th inning that gave the Cardinals a 5-4 lead. Cardinals starter Jake Westbrook (7-6) pitched 6 innings, and  allowed 4 runs. Molina was named to his 4th All-Star Game, along with shortstop Rafael Furcal, outfielder Carlos Beltran and pitcher Lance Lynn.
