Carlos Beltran was 0 for 3 with a walk to end a 9 game RBI streak in which he drove in 15 runs. Cardinals rookie pitcher Joe Kelly (1-1) pitched 6 innings, and gave up 2 earned runs. Francis (2-1) beat the Cardinals for the 6th time in 7 decisions.
