Military Dog Retired After Losing Leg After 400 Patrols

CHICAGO, IL. (CNN) - Lucca, an 8-year-old military dog who lost her leg finding explosives in Afghanistan, is now retired.  Officials held a ceremony for her Thursday at Chicago's O'Hare airport.

The Belgian Malinois had been on more than 400 patrols in Iraq and Afghanistan when she was hurt.

She's going back to Finland to live with her original handler.
