Two Teens Missing From Gerald, MO. Found

UPDATE: Two sisters who ran away from their Gerald, Missouri home have been found.  Fifteen year old Makela and twelve year old Cienna Kosata ran away after being grounded.

Police say the girls were found Wednesday night wandering the streets of Bland, Missouri in Gasconade County.

Both teens are in good condition.

Police and the girls’ mother had been concerned that they were  with someone they had met online. The Missouri Department of Family Services is investigating the case.

GERALD, MO (KTVI) - Two girls who left home after having an argument with the mom are now considered missing. Authorities in Gerald, Missouri say Cienna and Makaela Kostaka, ages 12 and 15, left home late Monday.

Authorities think the girls may be headed to the St. Louis area.  Cienna, 12, is described as a white female, 5-foot, 4-inches tall, weighing 100 pounds. She has shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes.

Her sister Makaela, 15, is approximately 5-foot, 6-inches tall and 125 pounds. She has shoulder length blond hair and brown eyes.

One resident told police she saw the girls walking east bound on Highway 50 and were picked up by someone in a blue car.

An employee at the Target in Washington, Missouri, about 25 miles away, reported seeing the girls in the parking lot Monday evening.
