(KTVI)-On the Jaco Report, Charles takes a look at the heat wave facing St. Louis.  The very hot and dry conditions may be the new normal.  That's why St. Louis city's Health Director, Pam Walker, says that planning for weather emergencies now has to include climate change. She also says the United States needs a national registry of heat-related deaths.


Plus, John Brunner is one of Missouri’s Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate.  Betsey Bruce sits down with one of the few candidates rich enough to finance his own campaign as he tries to win the right to run against the Democratic incumbent, Senator Claire McCaskill.
