East St. Louis Gets Police Grant

EAST ST. LOUIS, IL (KTVI) – Thirteen Illinois cities are being rewarded more than $4 million in grants from the U.S.  Department of Justice to support their law enforcement agencies.

The grants are part of a grant program set up in honor of fallen officer Edward Byrne who was killed on the job in the 1980s.  East St. Louis is among the cities that will be getting grant money
