The Jeff Fisher era for the St. Louis Rams got off to a rough start. Colts rookie QB and top pick Andrew Luck threw two TD passes to lead Indianapolis to a 38-3 trouncing of the Rams in both teams pre season opening games.

Luck connected with his first pass for a touchdown and the Colts never looked back at the Rams. For St. Louis, their quarterback, Sam Bradford had a good outing playing the first two series of the game. Bradford completed 7 of 9 passes for 57 yards. Rookie running back Isaiah Pead ran the ball ten times for 33 yards. Rams receiver Austin Pettis had three catches for 25 yards in the game.

But it was the same old story for the Rams, the failure of the defense. The Blue and Gold allowed 430 yards of offense to the Colts and five touchdowns.

The Rams next pre season game will be Saturday, August 18th, when they host the Kansas City Chiefs at the Edward Jones Dome. Coverage starts at 6:30 PM on KTVI-Fox 2, your Home of the Rams.
