ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Andrew Tessier tosses himself head first into his work.

"A somersault is head over heels.  A barrel roll is more of a running dive and you're giong at an angle.  So by going at that angle it's no longer a somersault.  It is a barrelroll." said Andrew Tessier.

He's the barrel roll man and is raising some scratch for Nurses for Newborns.

"After going on a couple home and nursing visits with a family, it really opened my eyes to what families are facing here in the city of St. Louis." said Tessier.
A family friend turned Tessier onto the charity. On Saturday he's hoping St. Louisans will donate $2 and twist and turn down Art Hill to break a world record.

"That record stands at 835 people which was set last year in Switzerland.  So we need 836 people tomorrow here at Art Hill at 2 pm." said Tessier. "If you crouch down and do a small roll that's the best way to do it.  Obviously, if you're older, maybe some stretching could be involved.  That might be important."

Especially if you're going to throw yourself head over heels into lending a helping hand.
