(KTVI) - It’s still national catfish month and Tim wants to continue celebrating. Shrimp Shack Grill owner JoJo Davis was happy to oblige, so she showed Tim a great recipe that sautés catfish with garlic for a delicious twist.
Seared catfish steak w garlic Parmesan
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 tablespoon of butter
1/4 cup of heavy cream
1/4 cup of chopped tomato
1/4 cup of chopped onion
1/4 cup of chopped almonds
2 teaspoon of JoJo’sAll-Purpose Miracle Seasoning
1 1/2 tablespoon of JoJo’sGarlic Parmesan Miracle Seasoning
2 pinches of nutmeg
Place catfish steak, 2 tablespoon of olive oil, JoJo’s All Purpose Miracle Seasoning, and JoJo’sGarlic Parmesan in a bowl and toss until evenly coated.
Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to a nonstick skillet. Add catfish and cook 4to 5 minutes on each side. When done, remove catfish steak from the skillet and place on plate. Add tomato, onions, butter, almonds and heavy cream to the same skillet. Let simmer for 5 minutes then add 2 pinches of nutmeg. Pour over catfish steak, plate and serve.
