JONESBORO, Ill. (AP) – Two southern Illinois women are jailed on $150,000 bond on charges that accuse them of playing a role in a man’s drug death last year.

A grand jury in Union County has indicted 58-year-old Angie Liljegren and 52-year-old Sandra Smith of Dongola on one count apiece of drug-induced homicide.

Liljegren also faces a charge of concealing a homicidal death. Authorities contend she moved the body, while Smith is accused of obstructing justice for allegedly making false statements to investigators.

They’re accused of providing unspecified drugs to Zane Smith in the days leading to his death. His body was found in September 2011 in Liljegren’s home.

Liljegren and Smith couldn’t be reached for comment Tuesday. Court records don’t show whether they have attorneys, and they don’t have listed home telephone numbers.
