The Latest U.S. Weather Map:

THE OVERALL PATTERN CONTINUES TO MAKE THE SHIFT…THE NORTHWEST FLOW WILL START TO BREAK DOWN OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS AND TURN MORE ZONAL…MORE OF A WEST TO EAST FLOW OVER THE NATION AND THAT MEANS OUR TEMPERATURES WILL START TO GO UP…BUT NOT THE INTENSE HEAT OF JULY…JUST A LITTLE BUMP UP THAT WILL TAKE US ABOVE AVERAGE MOST OF THE WEEK AND INTO NEXT WEEK…THE NIGHTS AND MORNINGS WILL BE FINE…JUST ON THE WARM TO HOT SIDE BETWEEN 1PM AND 6PM EACH DAY…WITH THE HIGHS TYPICALLY COMING AROUND 3PM. NOTHING MUCH IN THE WAY OF RAIN…BUT SHOULD START TO SEE AN INCREASE IN SCATTERED STORMS OVER THE WEEKEND..ESPECIALLY SATURDAY NIGHT AND INTO SUNDAY. PLUS THE TROPICS ARE FIRING UP…LOOKS LIKE A HURRICANE IN THE MAKING AND COULD BE A WATCHER FOR THE U.S. NEXT WEEK.
