ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) - A man has been found guilty in a case involving the torture and slaughter of several dogs.  According to Stray Rescue of St. Louis, the court found Kevin Thomas guilty of misdemeanor neglect.

Darick Stallworth will plead guilty to felony animal abuse next week.

Five dead and mutilated dogs were found in a vacant building in North St. Louis this past May.

Stray rescue played a role in providing evidence in the case and offered a reward.
