ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Seventeen chickens now call Gateway Greening's Bell Demonstration Garden home.  They are enjoying their new Community Coop.

The group is putting on a demonstration to show the benefits of chickens in the urban environment and how you can raise your own! Erin Venable, PH.D from Purina and Gateway Greening's James Anderson will educate attendees on what is needed to start and maintain your own flock. Enjoy a nice cold one donated from Schlafly, while learning about backyard chickens.
