Man Stops Car Break-Ins In The Act

SOUTH ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- A south St. Louis man caught three men trying to break into cars Friday evening. The man was in his home in the 5600 block of Bischoff Avenue when he saw a car stop outside. He then saw two people tampering with two cars, one of them his own.

Police say the man yelled at the suspects and they fled.  One of the suspects fired shots at the victim, but he was not wounded.

The suspects as three black males between the ages of 17 and 20.  They were in a small maroon SUV.
