O'FALLON, MO (KTVI)-- One area bank robbery appears to be just a small part of a growing national story.  The FBI has dubbed the man pictured, “The Bucket List Bandit” because he told one teller he has only months to live.  It was  August 30th when he walked into the Lindell Bank on Highway K in O'Fallon, Missouri.

It was not unusual as bank robberies go, passing a note, implying there's a gun, and taking off with cash.  What is unusual is the fact that this has gone national.

Missouri is the only state in which he's struck twice, hitting Columbia last month as well.  All told he's struck in nine states going back to June, as far west as Utah and Idaho, as far east as North Carolina, and Tuesday in Erie, Pennsylvania.  He also hit Bloomington, Illinois here in the Bi-State area.

There’s no telling where the jet setter will hit next, but it's becoming a priority of the FBI to ground him.
