ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A popular TV and radio preacher who broadcast from a South St. Louis furniture store, died last night after a short illness.

Slim Cox died at the VA Hospital where he was being treated for leukemia and a recent fall. For decades Slim and his wife Zella mae broadcast old fashion gospel revivals where they would sing songs and dish out martital advice.

Slim Cox was 85-years old and is survived by his wife Zella Mae and his children.
