AN IMPRESSIVE COOL DOWN AS WE HEAD INTO THE WEEKEND…CERTAINLY MORE OF A FALL FEEL FOR THE MIDDLE OF SEPTEMBER…WE ARE INBETWEEN TWO SYSTEMS OVER THE WEEKEND…A LOW PRESSURE ALMOST STUCK OVER ARKANSAS AND A DOME OF DRY HIGH PRESSURE TO OUR NORTH…ITS A LOSING BATTLE FOR BOTH WHEN IT COMES TO OUR WEATHER…A MIX OF CLOUDS AND SUN FOR THE WEEKEND AND IN THE 70’S…BUT THERE WILL BE RAIN THAT IS NEARBY–EXTREME SOUTHERN MISSOURI. THE OTHER FEATURE IS A RATHER IMPRESSIVE COLD FRONT COMING IN FROM THE PLAINS…THIS ARRIVES MONDAY AFTERNOON AND NIGHT WITH CLOUDS AND SHOWERS AND A FEW STORMS…WITH ANOTHER STRONG SHOT OF COOL AIR FOR NEXT WEEK…TUESDAY–LOOKING AT HIGHS IN THE 60’S AND LOWS IN THE 40’S…THAT GETS YOUR ATTENTION.
