Berkstresser also ran for the Tigers first touchdown of the game giving Mizzou a 10-0 lead.

Kendial Lawrence ran for two touchdowns as well. The Tigers held a 24-7 in the 4th quarter before Arizona State mounted a serious rally. The Sun Devils scored two 4th quarter touchdowns and reached the 3 yard line but missed on a 4th and goal pass attempt. The win improves Missouri’s record to 2-1. James Franklin did not play in the game due to a sore right shoulder.
