ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) – The Rams are over the .500 mark for the first time since the 2006 season. Their Thursday night 17-3 win over the Arizona Cardinals at the Edward Jones Dome raised their season record to 3-2.

In the victory, the Rams scored on their opening drive of the game when Sam Bradford threw a six yard TD pass to Lance Kendricks making it 7-0 Rams. Bradford would throw a second TD pass in the fourth quarter, a 51 yard bomb to rookie Chris Givens.

The defense was the story of the game for the Rams. They registered nine sacks on Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb. Robert Quinn had three sacks alone!

The only negative out of the big Rams win was a shoulder injury sustained by Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola. He was hurt diving for a pass in the second quarter and did not return to the game. It is feared that Amendola suffered a broken collarbone.
