(KTVI) - No debate about it, stores have many ways to trick you into trading your money for more of their goods.  Marketing guru Aaron Perlut of Elasticity explains some of the tricks of the trade.

Here are some of the tricks:
Fake sales.
Bigger shopping carts.
Perceived added value.
Letting you try things out in store.
Placing practical items in the checkout lanes.
