(KTVI) - Four years ago, St. Louis firefighter Leonard Riggins was on his way home when he stopped to help a car crash victim. That victim turned out to be a carjacker who then shot and killed Riggins.  Riggins was a 14-year veteran of the fire department, doing what he's always done, help others.

Four years later, his wife and two sons are keeping his memory alive. Darnita Riggins started the SAIL Foundation. The 4th Annual Leonard Riggins Memorial Bowling Benefit is happening Sunday, November 4th at the Dick Weber Lanes in Florissant. It starts at 7 p.m.  Donations are $20 per person.
