Giants starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner tossed seven shutout innings against the Tigers to lead San Francisco to a 2-0 win in Game 2 of the World Series and a 2-0 series lead.

Bumgarner outdueled Detroit’s Doug Fister in a game that was scoreless until the bottom of the 7th inning. The Giants pushed across the game’s first run on a double play. They would add a 2nd run on an 8th inning sacrifice fly.

It’s the fifth straight win for San Francisco, who won three straight games over the Cardinals in the NLCS and have taken the first two games of the World Series.

Game three of the World Series will be played Saturday night in Detroit. You can see that game right here on Fox 2. Coverage begins at 6:30 PM.
