County Police Holding Safety Check Points On Halloween

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – The streets will be filled with trick or treaters in a few hours and the St. Louis County Police Department is taking steps to help you keep your kids safe.

Officers and volunteers will be at several safety check points, handing out free glow necklaces, candy, balloons and costume safety checks. The centers will be open between 5pm and 8pm.

The county police will have their helicopter out for an extra eye on the streets and will also be keeping an eye out for vandalism.
