Man Asks For Gun Back After Assault

ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) – A suspect tracks down his victim to ask for his gun back.  Police say Lester White approached a West Florissant bus stop where several people were waiting for a ride. He put one of the men in a headlock and stuck a gun into his back.  The victim grabbed the gun and several witnesses wrestled him to the ground.  They say White broke free and fled the scene.

According to the  The St. Louis Circuit Attorney the gun was given to police and the victim went to a clinic. while talking to a security guard the victim was approached by Lester White.  He asked for his gun back then hit the victim on the head.

Lester White has been charged with Attempted Robbery in the first, Armed Criminal Action, and Assault in the  3rd degree.
