(KTVI) - Tim shows Kevin an easy way to make donuts with your kids.  Tim's dad shared this treat when Tim was a kid. This is how Tim and Kevin celebrated Donut Appreciation Day.

For Tim's dad's donuts: Just open a tube of refrigerated biscuit dough, cut out a circle then fry in oil.  When golden brown, remove from the hot oil and drop into a brown paper bag filled with about a cup of cinnamon sugar, or powdered sugar. Shake the bag. Pull out the donut and shake off excess sugar.

Fry both the donuts and the holes.

For an added twist, you can use cinnamon powdered sugar, or drizzle with icing.

Here's one recipe for this tasty treat: Biscuit Donuts
