ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – The NHL may be in a lock-out but one Hockey tradition is still alive.  The Canadian Hockey League just held it’s Teddy Bear Toss.  The idea is to collect thousands of toys for kids in need.

This video is from the Calgary Hitmen’s 2012 Teddybear Toss game.  After the first goal fans filled the ice with 21,453 teddybears.

The bears took 45 minutes to clean up.  The game resumed after the bears were removed.
